Chris is an alumnus of Xerox with over 20 years experience of innovation, business creation and development.

During his time at Xerox, Chris was a prolific figure in the implementation and management of worldwide systems projects. He launched the first high-speed postscript printers, where technology from PARC was delivered directly to end-customers. Chris then successfully led projects that integrated innovations from Xerox labs to improve products and accelerate business processes, eventually moving full-time into research.

Chris created a new research area within the European research centre, to study novel document technologies. Research included document modelling methodologies, cross-language knowledge sharing systems and the development of services to combine natural language technologies with existing interfaces. Multiple granted and pending patents are based on this work. He then managed the creation and subsequent sale of an Internet services business, as part of the Xerox new technology incubator team.

Chris holds a B.Sc in Physics with Microelectronics and Computing from Leicester University, UK.
